Industrial use of limit switches

The limit switch is mainly used to convert the mechanical displacement into an electric signal, so that the running state of the motor can be changed, thereby controlling the mechanical action or used as a program control.
The real use of the limit switch is in industry, where it cooperates with other equipment to form more complex automation equipment.
There are many such travel switches on the machine tool, which can be used to control the movement of the workpiece or the travel of the automatic feed to avoid collision accidents. Sometimes the travel switch is used to automatically reverse the direction of the controlled object between two prescribed positions, thereby obtaining continuous reciprocating motion. For example, an automatic material transporting trolley reaches the end and touches the travel switch, turns on the dumping mechanism, and overturns the materials in the trolley and returns to the starting point. After reaching the starting point, it touches the travel switch of the starting point to connect the circuit of the charging mechanism and start automatic loading. If this always goes on, it becomes an automatic production line, which does not need to be supervised by humans, working day and night, saving people's physical labor.
